"A FLAVOUR OF..." SERIES There are several of these workshops 'under construction' at the moment, so check next time you visit the site to see whether any more have been finalised. We're planning on 'A Flavour of…Africa', as well as '…Greece', and perhaps more. "A Flavour of...Ireland" Think Michael Flatley's 'Lord Of The Dance'…then think Lord Of The Dance's idiot cousin who's kept in the attic, and you've got the idea of what we expect will happen in this workshop! It's not meant to make you into the next Irish dance champion - just bring you out of the attic for an hour or two! There won't be any step dancing - the kind where you stamp a lot and need square-toed shoes for (if you already own square-toed shoes you don't need this workshop)! However, if you have a glaring deficit of them, but do have the desire to have a go at some high kicking to great music, and laugh until your tummy hurts, this is definitely for you. We'll start you off gently with a circle dance, move onto a ceilidh dance, then round things off with an Irish jig. And who knows - they might let you stay out of the attic for good!
